2025-2026 Tryout Information
WASA Soccer Club
To streamline the tryout process and ensure fairness for all participants, it is mandatory for both new and returning players to register for tryouts. This registration requirement helps the club manage logistics, plan resources, and communicate important information effectively. Additionally, it ensures that all players have equal opportunities and that necessary paperwork, such as waivers or medical forms, is completed beforehand. By adhering to this policy, the club can maintain organization and provide a smooth experience for everyone involved in the tryout process.

Educational Philosophy
WASA believes players should play as many different and diverse games and competitions as possible. Our players will consistently play on different sized pitches with different sized balls, different numbers of players and with different objectives.
Playing in this development phase gives our players a more completed and varied soccer education. Perhaps the most important is what they learn about themselves when confronted with so many ever-changing circumstances. In this way the player will acquire the necessary quick thinking and technical skills to deal with almost any situation with great creativity and imagination
Players will:
- Develop more diverse technical and tactical skills
- Find confidence in 1v1 situations and small spaces
- Acquire game intelligence and ability to develop play quickly
Using technology to suceed in today's game
Technology has revolutionized the way we approach sports training and player development. WASA incorporates technology into our training regimes to enhance our players' skills and performance. By using advanced technology such as video analysis, wearable sensors, and specialized training equipment, coaches and trainers can collect data on players' performance, track their progress, and identify areas for improvement. This helps players to develop specific skills, such as ball control, shooting, and passing, and to optimize their training programs accordingly. Moreover, technology also allows coaches to monitor and manage player workload and recovery, which is essential for preventing injuries and maintaining peak performance.
